Project Details

Kaelin Clay is a graduating Senior Communications and Media major specializing in journalism. Kaelin is Co-Producer of “Ouachita News” and also serves as an anchor and reporter.

Kaelin produced many stories during her time at OBUTV including a feature about the 100th year celebration of Cone Bottoms Hall. OBUTV staffer Joshua Engle was photojournalist for the story. Watch the Cone Bottoms feature below.

Kaelin’s work helped “Ouachita News” earn Best Regularly Occurring Newscast two years in a row at the Arkansas College Media Association (ACMA) convention. She was also named Anchor of the Year and Website Editor of the Year. Kaelin begins reporting for KATV Channel 7 in Little Rock—a top 60 market—in June of 2024.
