Project Details

The Motion Picture Production course in the Rogers Department of Communications invites upperclassmen Communications and Theatre Arts majors to learn about single-camera narrative production. After several weeks of instruction, the class turns its attention to creating a short film, serving as the capstone project for the course.

 

“Unmatched” is the culmination of nearly a year-long effort. The screenplay was developed by a student in the Motion Picture Script Development class during the 2025 spring semester, and the short was produced in the 2025 fall semester by Motion Picture Production students. The film premiered to a campus audience in December 2025.
